a “jump start” on developing their gross motor skills, which is important in
dance as well as other sports. An adult is encouraged to join the class until
the child feels ready to attend alone. Performing in recital is optional for

and ballet as well as a studio hip-hop dance. |

adventures. Students will start working on
“across the floor” combinations including
different kinds of Jeté leaps. Kids at

as a studio hip-hop dance. |

invited to compete one dance in competition that will be chosen by the teacher
and the class. Students at this level work as a team to develop their

dance in a competition and all three dances, including an all studio hip-hop
dance in recital. |
